Alpha Arbutin 2% + HA is our well-loved and well-known concentrated serum working to reduce the appearance of dark spots and uneven skin tone. Our Alpha Arbutin is biosynthetic, which is a complicated way to say that sciency-and-complex multi-step processes are involved in deriving the molecule from nature. It’s used at a high 2% concentration and is supported with a next-generation form of Hyaluronic Acid for enhanced skin delivery. Alpha Arbutin is extremely sensitive to degradation in the presence of water if the pH of the formulation is not ideal. \u2063\u2063<\/p>\n

\u2063\u2063The pH of this formula is approximately 4.9 which is shown to be the most suitable pH to minimize degradation of Alpha Arbutin.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2063\u2063Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2%<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% falls within our Vitamin C family. This formula offers all of the amazing benefits of Alpha Arbutin, with the addition of pure Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) to visibly target dullness, uneven tone, dark spots, and signs of aging, whilst also providing antioxidant support. A slight tingling sensation can be expected due to the 8% L-Ascorbic Acid present in the formula.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2063\u2063Important sciency bit: Vitamin C and Alpha Arbutin are both less stable in formulations that contain water, and use of them combined in formulations containing water is highly discouraged. That is why Ascorbic Acid 8% + Alpha Arbutin 2% is a water-free, stable solution.<\/p>\n
